At Fjordgaarden, we have focused on thinking and acting green for many years, which has earned us the prestigious Green Key certification.

Green Key is the international eco-label for tourism, awarded only to tourism businesses that make an extra effort to protect the environment.

As a Green Key establishment, Fjordgaarden must meet many concrete and relevant environmental requirements, ensured through a comprehensive approval process and ongoing inspections.

When you book a stay or conference with us, you are guaranteed that we make an extra effort to save water and energy, focus on organic food, and clean with eco-labeled cleaning products.

What Do We Do?

• We focus on resource consumption, including energy, water, plastic, and paper, and implement saving systems and processes wherever possible.
• We minimize and reduce waste and use waste sorting schemes.
• We only use cleaning products that have minimal environmental impact.
