Terms and Conditions for Fjordgaarden's Webshop

All prices on Fjordgaarden’s webshop are listed in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT (25%) and taxes.

We reserve the right to make corrections for sold-out items, typographical errors, and spelling errors in our webshop and in all correspondence regarding the item.

We reserve the right to adjust for changes in taxes and external price and currency changes.

We reserve the right that images shown of products in Fjordgaarden’s webshop, on our website, and in sent materials may differ from the actual appearance of the item. The images shown are only indicative.

Please Note: When paying with foreign credit cards, a fee of 3.75% will be added to the total invoice amount for Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa, Amex, and Diners.

Children and Young People Under 18 Years Old

You must be 18 years old to make purchases on www.fjordgaarden.dk. If you are under 18, you must have consent from your parents. When a guest is over 12 years old, they are considered an adult and should be booked under this category in the booking.

Energy Surcharge

Due to the increase in energy prices since October 2021, Fjordgaarden has found it necessary to introduce an energy surcharge starting from October 3, 2022. The surcharges will be settled in connection with the stay. The surcharge will be adjusted quarterly based on the development of energy prices.

The energy surcharge for a spa stay with overnight accommodation is DKK 40 per room per night from July 15, 2024.

The energy surcharge for a regular overnight stay is DKK 20 per room per night from July 15, 2024.

The energy surcharge is DKK 14 per person for spa entry or a day spa package from July 15, 2024.

Payment & Shipping

In Fjordgaarden's Webshop, you can pay with credit cards: Dankort, Visa, Visa/Dankort, and Mastercard. The money will be withdrawn on the delivery day. In the event of a complaint/return, the money will be refunded within 5 working days, excluding any delivery costs.

Shipping/Delivery/Pickup

Gift certificates are sent via email in a print-yourself version. If a physical gift certificate is desired, it can be ordered and picked up at Fjordgaarden. However, it can also be sent by post, in which case administration fees and postage costs for parcel post will apply.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates purchased at Fjordgaarden and in the webshop can be used to purchase both VAT-liable and VAT-exempt items at Fjordgaarden.

The gift certificates themselves function fully as a means of payment when you first book the stay and later arrive at the hotel. Remember to book your stay in advance.

The gift certificates are double-sided and are designed to be printed on both sides of a single sheet of paper if the selected printer's functionality allows it. Most printers allow this. Simply open the attached gift certificate—a PDF file—and choose to print on both sides in the print program.

All gift certificates issued by Fjordgaarden are numbered so that we can easily assist the recipient of the gift certificate when they contact us to book a stay or an overnight stay. Some of our gift certificates do not have a price listed, so there is no need to worry about covering the price. The gift certificate is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. The gift certificate cannot be exchanged for cash.

Return Policy

There is a 14-day return/cancellation policy on unused items. For exchanges or returns, contact Fjordgaarden A/S via email at rec@fjordgaarden.dk or phone +45 97 32 14 00.

Warranty

There is a 2-year warranty on all items. In the event of a complaint, Fjordgaarden will replace the item. We reserve the right to settle a complaint by refunding the purchase price of the item. The cost of return shipping for justified complaints will be covered by Fjordgaarden A/S, as agreed.

In all cases, the customer's warranty expires two years after delivery.
